Outline of the Society

The purpose of the Japanese Society of Biomechanics is to promote scientific research on human body movement and its communication and collaboration, and to promote the development of biomechanics. To this end, the Society conducts the following activities

1. Organize the Biomechanics Society of Japan Conference
2. To serve as a subcommittee of the Japanese Society of Physical Education specializing in biomechanics.
3. Holding research meetings and lectures
4. Collection and introduction of information that contributes to the research of members through the publication of the journal “Biomechanics Research
5. Interdisciplinary and international research exchange
6. Other activities that contribute to the objectives of the Society
